I got some really cutesy local hairpins for my friends from Ladakh. But for some reason, the bunch of ladies I travelled with thought that the pins were a little complicated to use. Since I always err on the side of caution, I got the hairpin seller to show me how to use them. Since I've zero expertise with hairpins, I then asked her to tie one of my friend's hair and shot this video for anyone and everyone who needs help using pointy local Ladakhi hairpins. Damn, those things can hurt. And be complicated!
