Divine Really is Divine.

India has a lot of rappers. And rap music is becoming fairly common in Bollywood soundtracks but that doesn't mean any of it is good. Like most rappers in America, Indian rappers are also stuck rapping about the same old things. Which is basically women, fast cars, and since there's no racial subtext to rapping India, it's just women again.

That's where Divine makes a difference. This guy drops verses about the streets of Mumbai, the simple-minded rigorous work ethic of its people and the hustle and flow of the city. And boy does he sound good and deserves to be heard. Go, give it a listen. NOW.
